Poland Formally Requests Zbigniew Ziobro's Extradition from the US

Poland has formally submitted an extradition request to US authorities for former Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro. In response, Ziobro issued a lengthy statement vowing not to surrender. He claims his refusal to cooperate with investigators represents "a defence of the fundamental principles of a democratic rule of law" rather than flight from justice.
