Web scraper SerpApi wins court battle with Google: "Google doesn't own the internet"
Web scraping company SerpApi won a court battle against Google, which had sued it last December under the DMCA, alleging circumvention of anti-scraping technology and unauthorised sale of scraped search results via an API. Google has confirmed it will continue fighting despite the loss; Reddit has also joined the legal effort. SerpApi responded that "Google and Reddit do not own the internet."
