SAG-AFTRA opposes Paramount-WBD merger but won't join WGA lawsuit

SAG-AFTRA's National Board passed a resolution over the weekend publicly opposing Paramount Skydance's pending acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery unless certain conditions are met. However, the union stopped short of joining its sister union, the Writers Guild of America, which has already taken the matter to court.
