Solidarity union: Social Charter ratification must include costly obligations
A member of the NSZZ Solidarność National Commission argues that Poland's ratification of the Revised European Social Charter should not be limited to obligations that require no state expenditure. Such a selective approach, the author writes, would undermine genuine workers' rights. Full ratification must include provisions that impose concrete financial and legal duties on the state.
