British intelligence warns Russia may test NATO within months
British intelligence sources cited by the Mail on Sunday warn that Vladimir Putin is preparing a direct test of NATO, exploiting the change of government in London and Donald Trump's preoccupation with the Iran conflict. New Prime Minister Andy Burnham is expected to be targeted by the Kremlin. Russia is already rerouting its so-called shadow fleet and conducting demonstrative military manoeuvres off the British coast.
