ChatGPT Now Refuses to Directly Imitate Famous Authors' Writing Styles

OpenAI's ChatGPT is now refusing requests to directly mimic the style of famous authors, including Stephen King, J.K. Rowling, Amy Tan, Charles Dickens and Ernest Hemingway. Instead of close imitation, the model offers writing that draws on the "broad qualities" of those authors while remaining distinct. The change applies to both living and deceased writers.
