Russia raises fees for foreigners up to 12 times — citizenship and residency costs soar

Russia is sharply increasing administrative fees for foreigners, with the cost of obtaining citizenship or permanent residency rising as much as twelvefold. Russian authorities have signalled that further fee hikes are still to come.
