Claude shared chats were publicly indexed on Google — 11,241 messages saved to GitHub

A missing line of code in Anthropic's Claude app meant that chats shared "via link" were simultaneously indexed by Google and visible to anyone. Someone collected 11,241 of those conversations and published them to GitHub before the flaw was fixed. The issue was the absence of a single line blocking search-engine crawlers from indexing shared chats.
