Claude shared chats exposed to everyone due to missing code — Anthropic's privacy flaw

A bug in Anthropic's Claude platform meant that chats shared "via link" were indexed by search engines and publicly accessible without users' knowledge. The flaw stemmed from a missing line of code that should have blocked search crawlers. Thousands of those conversations were collected and published to GitHub before the issue was resolved.
