Putin Warns of Ukraine Breaking Up — Expert: It's a Classic 'Divide and Conquer' Ploy
During Russia's Navy Day celebrations, Vladimir Putin again predicted Ukraine would break apart, with territory going to Poland, Romania and Hungary. Dr. Wojciech Kotowicz of the University of Warmia and Mazury told Wirtualna Polska the aim is to make Warsaw appear a potential revisionist power in Kyiv's eyes rather than an ally. He says Poland's response to this "divide and conquer" tactic must be unambiguous.
