High court blocks Tottenham's training facility in London park

A High Court judge has quashed Enfield council's decision to grant Tottenham Hotspur planning permission to build a women's and girls' football academy on 6.5 hectares of Whitewebbs Park in north London. Campaign group Guardians of Whitewebbs argued the council's approval was unlawful. Tottenham must now seek an alternative site for the planned facility.
