Harlan Coben's CBS crime series 'Final Twist' returns in October on new night

One of the most prominent modern mystery novelists is returning to primetime broadcast television on a new night. CBS has unveiled its full fall premiere schedule for the upcoming 2026/27 season, and with it comes a shift for Harlan Coben's Final Twist from Tuesday nights to Mondays starting on October 5. The murder mystery docuseries will now air in the 10-11 p.m. ET time slot, following FBI at 8 p.m. and its spin-off, CIA , at 9 p.m. Unlike its inaugural run, which kicked off on a Wednesday before shifting to its regular time, the author will stay settled with his real life stories of intrigue at the beginning of the week throughout the entire season.
