'Odyssey' translator Emily Wilson calls Nolan's screenplay 'abysmal'

Emily Wilson, whose 2017 translation of Homer's "The Odyssey" was cited by Christopher Nolan as an influence on his new film, has published a scathing review of his screenplay. Writing in the London Review of Books, Wilson called the script "abysmal" and said she would be ashamed to have written any part of it. The rebuke is notable given Nolan publicly credited her work during the film's press tour.
