France and Spain race to contain wildfires before fresh heatwave mid-week

Firefighters in France and Spain are working urgently to contain large wildfires before temperatures rise again from Wednesday. Spanish Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska called Monday and Tuesday "absolutely crucial days" for firefighting efforts. The returning heatwave is expected to significantly hamper operations from mid-week onwards.
