Doctors bar McConnell from returning to work after fall — senator apologises for absence

Senator Mitch McConnell has not yet been cleared by doctors to return to work as he recovers from a fall. His office released a statement that included a written apology from McConnell for being unable to attend an annual Kentucky picnic.
