Żurek blasts Nawrocki's Supreme Court appointments as deliberate crisis-deepening

Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek sharply criticised President Karol Nawrocki's announcement that he would hand appointment letters to four new Supreme Court judges. Żurek posted on social media that "the goal is clear – to deepen the crisis", asking who would foot the bill for financial penalties imposed on Poland by the European Court of Human Rights over rulings by so-called neo-judges.
