Meccha Chameleon Hit by Malware via Custom Steam Workshop Maps

The developers of the Steam stealth game Meccha Chameleon released patch 3.1.0 after at least two custom Steam Workshop maps — "Laser Tag Neon" and "Chroma Grid Arena" — were found to contain malware. Community member Feint first flagged the issue, noting that downloading the maps triggered suspicious command prompt windows on players' computers. The team says all vulnerabilities have been fixed, the hackers banned, and the official Discord server restored.
