Five asteroids named after Polish scientists

Five new asteroid names honouring Polish scientists in the fields of astronomy and geology were added to the official catalogue in July. The additions expand the list of space objects bearing Polish-sounding names. The honoured researchers have thus secured a lasting place in the history of space exploration.
