Keigo Higashino, Japan's 'king of crime fiction', dies aged 68
Japanese crime fiction writer Keigo Higashino died on Thursday, 23 July, aged 68, from colorectal cancer. Born in Osaka in 1958, he worked as an engineer while writing fiction in his spare time before becoming one of Japan's most widely read authors. He was widely known as the "king of crime fiction."
