Berlin Pride attacker Abdul Ballout, 21, had ISIS ties, officials say

Officials identified the Berlin Pride attacker as Abdul Ballout, a 21-year-old German-born man of Lebanese descent. He drove a vehicle into celebrants at one of Europe's largest Pride events before carrying out a stabbing, killing one person and injuring nearly 30. A group had previously flagged his ties to ISIS as a red flag.
