Two Emmy Academies in Merger Talks Nearly 50 Years After Split

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) are in merger talks, nearly 50 years after the two organisations split. The two bodies currently oversee separate Emmy Award categories for television.
