Sweden to create new foreign intelligence agency after misjudging Russia's 2022 invasion

Sweden is to establish a new civilian foreign intelligence agency focused on political analysis, according to The Economist. The move follows the failure of military intelligence agency MUST, which assessed before February 2022 that Vladimir Putin would not invade Ukraine. The new body is intended to prevent similar analytical misjudgements in future.
