TV Academy and NATAS in Merger Talks After 50-Year Split

The Los Angeles-based Television Academy and the New York-based National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) have begun exploratory merger talks, fifty years after the two organisations split. The two sides made a joint announcement on Monday morning. No deadline for the talks has been set.
