Lithuania wants to ban pro-war Russians and Belarusians from sports events

Lithuania's Foreign Ministry is pushing to tighten its sanctions law to bar Russian and Belarusian nationals who support the attack on Ukraine or have appeared in occupied territories from sporting events in the country. The proposed change would apply to athletes and other public figures from both countries. The move is the latest in a series of Lithuanian steps to harden its stance toward Moscow and Minsk.
