Russia denies plans to introduce exit visas for its citizens

A Russian Telegram channel called "Możemy Wyjaśnić" reported that Russia's Foreign Ministry is drafting a law to introduce exit visas for citizens wishing to leave the country. Vladimir Dzhabarov, head of the parliamentary committee on state sovereignty protection, firmly denied the reports. If enacted, such visas would recall Soviet-era "Iron Curtain" practices restricting freedom of movement.
