Morawiecki courted politically vulnerable MPs with promises of good places on PiS lists
Mateusz Morawiecki deliberately targeted MPs who appeared vulnerable ahead of elections, offering them good positions on PiS electoral lists or outside the party in exchange for loyalty, according to journalist Jacek Gądek in the podcast "Stan Wyjątkowy". Sources note that many of the politicians involved have significant personal or political conflicts. The strategy was described as transparent and aimed at building Morawiecki's personal base of support.
