Mount Olympus joins UNESCO World Heritage List

Mount Olympus, Greece's highest peak and mythological home of the gods, has been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Greek prime minister hailed the inscription as an important national achievement. The mountain holds exceptional natural and cultural value as a symbol of ancient Greek civilisation.
