Russian Duma: new mobilisation unnecessary, Zelensky spreading rumours

Andrei Kartapolov, chairman of the Russian State Duma's Defence Committee, declared that Russia has no need for a new wave of mobilisation, calling reports of such plans "rumours" spread by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Moscow has again publicly denied any intention to conduct a mass conscription drive. Zelensky had previously suggested Russia was preparing another mobilisation.
