Germany: over 9,000 Islamists deemed ready to use violence

German intelligence services have identified around 9,100 people with Islamist views in Germany who are considered ready to use violence, according to the newspaper "Die Welt". Of these, 446 have been classified as posing a potential politically and ideologically motivated threat. The figures highlight a serious challenge for German security authorities.
