Storms hit Małopolska and Podkarpacie – torn roofs, hail and fallen trees

Violent storms with strong gusts, heavy rainfall and hail swept through the Małopolska and Podkarpacie regions, tearing off roofs, breaking branches and downing trees. Poland's national meteorological service IMGW issued storm warnings for the entire eastern strip of the country. The Government Security Centre sent SMS alerts to residents of four voivodeships.
