Nawrocki Vetoes Windfall Tax on Fuel Firms — Government Plans a New Version

President Karol Nawrocki refused to sign the windfall tax on fuel companies, referring the law to the Constitutional Tribunal. Deputy Energy Minister Wojciech Wrochna said the veto opens the door to work on a "more systemic" version of the tax. The government is considering accelerating those efforts.
