Upper Silesia bids to host the WRC World Rally Championship

Following the 82nd Rally Poland, held as a round of the European Rally Championship (ERC), organisers from Upper Silesia have publicly stated their ambition to host a round of the World Rally Championship (WRC). The president gave clear backing to the bid, lending it an official dimension. Hosting a WRC round would represent a major prestige boost for Polish motorsport.
