Ubisoft developing "really ambitious" open-world Far Cry, kills extraction shooter

Insider Gaming reports that Ubisoft has entered full development on a new "really ambitious" open-world Far Cry game after completing its conceptualisation phase. At the same time, the studio has cancelled a planned Far Cry extraction shooter. Far Cry 7 remains separately in development.
