Netflix agrees deal with SFP-ZAPA to pay Polish creators royalties

Netflix and SFP-ZAPA, the Polish Filmmakers Association, have signed an agreement on royalty payments for Polish audiovisual creators whose works are streamed on the platform. The deal covers the period from September 2024 to the end of 2026, in line with Polish regulations granting creators the right to supplementary remuneration from VOD distribution. Netflix will channel the payments through SFP-ZAPA as the collective rights management organisation.
