Square Enix casually dropped a Final Fantasy XVII mention and fans went wild

During a fan event, Square Enix representatives briefly alluded to Final Fantasy XVII, even though the game has never been officially announced. The comment "you don't have to comment on that" was enough to send the community into a frenzy. Final Fantasy XVII officially does not yet exist as an announced title.
