Extreme heat incoming — temperatures above 30°C and drought risk for weeks

Weather forecasts for the next 14 days point to an exceptionally hot period in Poland, especially in the south, where temperatures are expected to regularly exceed 30°C. Abundant sunshine raises rapid drought risk. The first half of August is forecast to deviate significantly from long-term climate norms.
