New GUS life tables show longer lives – but lower monthly pensions
Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS) has published new life expectancy tables for 2025. Since pension capital is divided by the projected number of months of survival, longer life expectancy means lower monthly pension payouts for those newly applying for retirement benefits. The data also reveal significant regional differences across Poland.
