PiS nominates candidate for deputy Sejm speaker — seat vacant since 2023

Poland's Law and Justice party (PiS) has put forward a candidate for the position of deputy Speaker of the Sejm. The seat has remained vacant since 2023. The nomination opens the possibility of finally filling the long-standing gap in the lower chamber's presidium.
