Oil drops 6% as US pauses strikes on Iran

Brent crude fell 6% to below $91 a barrel on Monday after the US paused strikes on Iran, easing fears of supply disruption through the Strait of Hormuz. Prices had hit $100 last week following Houthi attacks on Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea. Shares in BP and Shell also slid on the FTSE 100.
