IMAX China to dedicate nearly 800 screens to Nolan's "The Odyssey" from Aug. 14

IMAX China plans to dedicate the vast majority of its nearly 800-screen network to Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" when it opens in mainland China on August 14. CEO Daniel Manwaring told Variety that audience anticipation "is going to be enormous," citing what he called the "Christopher Nolan Effect." It is set to be one of the largest IMAX rollouts in Chinese cinema history.
