New Far Cry project "Kodiak" moves to development phase after concept approval

The project codenamed "Kodiak", developed by Vantage Studios, successfully passed its concept phase in July and has entered full development. It is described as an open-world FPS in which player interactions and player-driven stories play a central role. The game builds on the foundations of "Maverick", a cancelled Ubisoft extraction shooter.
