Maria Skłodowska-Curie proposed for the €20 euro banknote design

The European Central Bank has launched a public consultation on the design of a new euro banknote series. One of the proposals features Polish-born scientist Maria Skłodowska-Curie on the €20 note. EU citizens are being asked to share their opinions on the candidate designs.
