Kraków councillors demand short-term rental rules after deputy minister flat scandal

The Kraków dla Mieszkańców city council group has submitted a resolution to the government and parliament calling for regulation of short-term rentals. The move follows reports that Deputy Minister of Sport and Tourism Ireneusz Raś owned studio flats used for rental purposes. Councillors criticised the situation as a conflict of interest given the ongoing debate over rental market rules.
