Berlin Pride attacker tried to join ISIS and was convicted just two months ago

Police identified the Berlin Pride attack suspect as Abdul Ballout, a German citizen of Lebanese heritage who was already known to authorities. He had been sentenced just two months ago for planning serious violence, and had previously attempted to join ISIS.
