Helsinki Foundation calls for higher pay for scarce court experts and independent certification board

The Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights has submitted proposals to the draft law on court-appointed experts, calling for higher pay for specialists in hard-to-fill fields. The Foundation also demands that the expert certification board be appointed by an independent body rather than the Minister of Justice, to ensure impartiality.
