Regional neurosurgery consultant resigns amid Mogilno hospital scandal
Dr Piotr Gasiński has stepped down as the regional neurosurgery consultant for the Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeship after being asked to write a report on the activities of the company Spine at a hospital in Mogilno. He had previously acquired shares in another company from neurosurgeons who performed procedures at that hospital. Gasiński told WP that they conducted no joint medical activities and the transaction involved only property. The scandal centres on neurosurgeons allegedly earning up to 26,000 zlotys per hour.
