Curlinov fled Widzew's hotel right after medical tests

Darko Curlinov had been set to join Widzew Łódź, completed his medical tests and was staying at the club's hotel, but disappeared before the transfer was finalised. According to Rafał Gikiewicz, staff went to collect him and he simply was not there — he had already left the hotel. No official explanation from the player has been given.
