Polish gov't to make apartment block balconies shared property

The Polish government is finalising an amendment that would reclassify balconies, terraces and loggias in apartment blocks managed by housing associations as shared property. The change is intended to resolve long-running legal disputes between residents and housing associations over who bears responsibility — and the cost — for maintaining and repairing those surfaces.
