Thailand's SEC files criminal complaint against Bitkub over undisclosed $47M hack
Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission has filed a criminal complaint against crypto exchange Bitkub and two of its former directors for allegedly concealing a $47 million theft from its 2021 regulatory filings. The regulator says the hack took place in 2021 but was never disclosed to authorities or the public. The case is one of the most serious crypto security-breach concealment cases in the region.
