Poland's AI law bans social scoring and brings algorithm oversight

Following the president's signature, Poland's new AI law introduces strict oversight of artificial intelligence systems. The legislation is designed to protect citizens from deepfakes and identity theft while giving businesses a secure framework for innovation. So-called social scoring — targeting people with ads or information based on their real-time location — will be abolished.
